Meet the Chamber Board: Mia Howard
Mia graduated from Labette Community College in 2024 with an Associate of Science degree in Communication and has proudly been part of the LCC team since May 2024. She began her career in Admissions as an Admissions Recruiter and recently accepted the position of Admissions Specialist. Mia has a true passion for LCC, Admissions, and the incredible team she works alongside every day. Her outgoing personality and love for connecting with others make her a perfect addition to the Chamber Board.
Outside of work, Mia comes from a close-knit family of five and shares a special bond with her two younger sisters, who are also her best friends. She is soon to be married to her wonderful fiancé, Dace, who works as a Maintenance Technician at B&W Trailer Hitches. Together, they have two dogs: Milo, a dachshund/Frenchie mix, and Millie, an American Lab.
In her free time, Mia enjoys attending live music events, hiking with her fiancé and family, and spending time outdoors. She describes herself as an “old soul” who loves all genres of music and classic 80s movies.
Mia is excited to serve on the Chamber Board, where she looks forward to building meaningful connections within the board and throughout the community. She is eager to continue growing professionally, meeting new people, and contributing to the event planning process while helping make a positive impact in the community!
