Member of the Day: Shared Faith Community

Shared Faith Community is a unique partnership between First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), bringing two congregations together to share a building, worship, missions, and ministry while serving the Parsons community with a common purpose.

Located at 1500 S. 29th Street, Shared Faith Community is committed to creating a welcoming environment where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact through service. In addition to weekly worship and fellowship opportunities, the congregation is actively involved in outreach ministries and community programs that provide support and encouragement to neighbors in need. 

Their commitment to sharing resources and working together is a wonderful example of collaboration and community spirit. Through local missions, special events, and service projects, Shared Faith Community continues to make a difference for individuals and families throughout Parsons.
