Meet the Board: Lori Perkins

Lori Perkins, Superintendent of USD 503, has been a member of the Parsons Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2016. Her support and input have been invaluable helping the Chamber navigate the last few years.

Lori has a heart for Parsons. With her Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Leadership, both from Pittsburg State University, she's all about bringing out the best in our community.

Family comes first for Lori. She has three grown children, John and his wife Denali, Emily and her husband Silas, and Matt, plus three bonus kids, Kayley and her husband Alex, Alex, and Annjolee. Lori's is married to Bill Perkins from the KC area. They enjoy exploring new places, catching live music gigs, and watching Broadway shows together.

Lori's all about making Parsons an even better place to live, work, and go to school, which is what makes her a perfect fit for the Chamber Board. Whether it's connecting with folks in town or indulging in her favorite snacks (chocolate and peanut butter, of course!), or helping her students and staff celebrate all the wonderful things USD 503 has to offer, she's all about spreading positivity.

When Lori's not busy making magic happen at USD 503, you might catch her taking a relaxing stroll, getting lost in a good book, or just soaking up the joy of being with her loved ones.
