Member of the Day: The McLeod Group

Behind nearly every new clinic wing, EMS program, or public safety upgrade in Southeast Kansas, there's usually a grant that made it possible — and often, a quieter name behind that grant: The McLeod Group.

Based in Pratt, Kansas, and led by principal Nick Allen, the firm specializes in grant writing and consulting for hospitals, law enforcement, school districts, and higher education institutions across rural Kansas. Locally, its work includes funding for Labette Community College's health sciences building and CT program, support for Labette Health's diabetes education center, and multiple rural health clinic and telemedicine projects around the county.

Clients consistently point to the same thing: a process that's thorough, anticipates funders' questions, and treats each grant as the start of an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time win.
