Founded by a military veteran and former SpaceX engineer, the company has already turned heads nationally, taking the win at TechCrunch Disrupt's 2025 Startup Battlefield and drawing coverage from Forbes.

That technology is being put to the test right here in Parsons, where Glīd is running a pilot program at the Great Plains Industrial Park — a former Army base with 26 miles of rail track that makes it an ideal proving ground. Park director Brad Reams has described the partnership as a chance to build a "purple collar" job economy, supporting the truck drivers, crane operators, and rail engineers who keep freight moving. It's a fitting home for a startup working to reconnect road and rail, and a sign that Parsons has a seat at the table in the next generation of American logistics.
