Member of the Day: Honor Flight of SEK

Honor Flight gives area veterans an opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor. Our local program is especially meaningful because area high school students have the opportunity to be part of the experience alongside the veterans. In June 2026, veterans from Parsons, Chetopa and St. Paul high schools participated in an Honor Flight trip to Washington.

It takes a lot of volunteers, fundraising and community support to make these trips possible, but the result is an experience our veterans and students will remember for years to come.

We are proud to have Honor Flight as part of the Parsons Area Chamber of Commerce and grateful for the work they do to recognize and honor the men and women who have served our country.
