Steamboat’s Most Deliciously Ridiculous Race Returns:

Powered by Main Street Steamboat and co-hosted by Boy Scout Troop #194, the Second Annual Zucchini Classic brings Pinewood Derby fun to the Farmers Market—with zucchinis mounted on derby cars racing down a full track. Proceeds from the event support Boy Scout Troop #194 and Main Street Steamboat.

 Event Schedule

• Day‑of Registration & Check‑In: 9:00–10:00 AM
• Races Begin: 10:15 AM
• Awards & Wrap‑Up: ~11:30 AM
• Registration Fee: $10
• Open to: Youth and adults
• Each entrant races at least six times

 Divisions

Participants will weigh in their zucchini racers and compete in one of three divisions:

• Light
• Medium
• Heavy

 Build Your Racer

• Bring your own home‑grown zucchini or pick one up at the Farmers Market.
• Pinewood Derby car kits are available in advance at Steamboat Ace.
• Kits are also sold on‑site at the Market on race day.
• Cars and zucchinis may be decorated; creativity encouraged!

 Prizes

Awards will be given for:

• Division Winners
• Best Design / Decoration / Creativity
