Downtown BID Information Session on May 5
Main Street Steamboat invites downtown business owners, property owners, partners, and community members to join us for an important information session about the Downtown Business Improvement District (B.I.D.).
With the City of Steamboat Springs moving to repopulate the BID Board, this session will help ensure that individuals interested in serving on the board have a clear understanding of what a BID is, how it functions, and what responsibilities come with board service.
This event is free and open to the public.

Why This Session Matters
As the City evaluates next steps for the Downtown BID, polling the BID Board is a required and important step in determining whether the district should continue or be dissolved. Ensuring that community members—especially those considering board service—are well‑informed is essential to a transparent and constructive process.
Main Street Steamboat is neither for nor against the BID. Our role is to support an informed community by providing access to accurate information, statewide expertise, and opportunities for open dialogue.
