A variety of events and activities are planned for October to recognize and celebrate Polish American Heritage Month.

• Sunday, October 25th at 9:15am - Polish Month Mass and Coffee Hour: Polish hymns sung by the St. Cecelia Choir at St. Joseph Church.  Coffee hour with Polish and American pastries after Mass in the Church Hall. No charge; free-will offerings welcome
• Friday, October 23 at 6:00 pm: Polish-American author Susanne Strempek Shea Book Talk at the Fiske Free Library - Compositions, a humorous and poignant memoir of 8 years in a Polish Catholic elementary school in Western Massachusetts.
• Polish Week at The Old Courthouse Restaurant in Newport - October 28-31 for lunch and dinner, with Live accordion music every night during dinner. (603) 863-8360. This popular tradition began in 2005, establishing a partnership between St. Joseph Church's Polish Month and The Old Courthouse on the last week in October each year.
