Community Ideas Inspire a Downtown Storefront Transformation

Ponca City Main Street’s Design Committee brings new life to a vacant storefront!

🎨 Notice something new downtown? This storefront (located at 324 E. Central Ave.) got a creative upgrade today!

Our Design Committee just completed a placemaking project that brings new life to a vacant downtown space through window art inspired by your feedback! Responses to our community survey helped shape the artwork, showcasing ideas for what residents would like to see—or see more of—in Downtown Ponca City.

This project supports our Placemaking Transformation Strategy and the goal to develop vacant spaces for new uses. By making this empty storefront more inviting, we’re sparking conversations and helping people imagine what the space could become in the future.
