You might notice more fall products on vendor tables this Saturday. That gives us a glimpse of what's ahead. The beauty of a farmer's market is that we reflect seasonal growth for fresh produce. It is the way of the seasons: fewer tomatoes, greens are in transition between summer and fall, peppers are abundant, and winter squashes are entering the market. To eat with the cycle of the seasons, buy what is in season. *Did you know that this fall is a great time to plant your own garlic? 

If you didn't get a September Loyalty Card last week, you can still get in three visits this month. Pick up your card or get it punched this Saturday. This is a free program to reward our market customers. Just stop by the market information tent and we will give you a card with all of the September Saturdays. Each week you visit the market, stop by our tent for a hole punch, and when you have three weeks of attendance, you are entered in the monthly drawing. The winner gets a personal shopping spree at the market with an envelope of gift cards. Each market vendor contributes to the drawing throughout the market season. The monthly envelope of gift cards is valued between $70 and $80. We will have a drawing in September and October. Be sure you get your card this Saturday.
