Sunbury's Annual Sandwich Stroll Returns June 6, 2026 - Crowning the "Best Sandwich in Sunbury"

SUNBURY, PA — The annual Sandwich Stroll returns to downtown Sunbury on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., inviting residents and visitors to sample delicious sandwiches and help determine who will earn the title of Best Sandwich in Sunbury.

Each year, local restaurants and food businesses compete in this friendly culinary showcase, offering guests a taste of their signature creations. Participants will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites, while a panel of judges will also select a winner.

Two awards will be presented:

• People's Choice Award – Selected by event attendees
• Judge's Choice Award – Selected by a panel of judges

"We're excited to welcome residents and visitors back to downtown Sunbury for another year of great food, community engagement, and friendly competition," said Jody Ocker, Executive Director of Sunbury's Revitalization, Inc. "The Sandwich Stroll highlights the creativity and dedication of our local businesses while encouraging people to explore all that downtown Sunbury has to offer. Events like this help strengthen our community and support the continued revitalization of our downtown."

How It Works

Participants are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Ticket holders will:

• Check in at Sandwich Stroll Headquarters at the Sunbury Market House beginning at 10:00 a.m.
• Receive tasting coupons and a map of participating locations.
• Stroll through downtown Sunbury from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., sampling sandwiches and casting their votes.

Advance Purchase (through May 31)

• $10 per ticket
• Includes 10 tasting coupons

Day-of Event (limited availability)

• $20 per ticket
• Includes 10 tasting coupons

Early ticket purchases are encouraged to help participating businesses prepare for the event.
