Join us as we celebrate Juneteenth, honoring freedom, heritage, and community through fellowship and inspiration. Everyone is welcome.

About Juneteenth

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when news of emancipation reached enslaved African Americans in Texas, more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, it stands as a powerful reminder of freedom, perseverance, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

Everyone Is Welcome

The City of Brownsville encourages all members of the community to attend this uplifting event as we come together to honor our shared history and celebrate the progress and promise of our future.

"Celebrating Freedom, Honoring the Past, and Inspiring the Future."
