City of Brownsville and Main Street Host Annual Health Fair and 5K Run Benefiting St. Jude

The City of Brownsville and Brownsville Main Street proudly hosted the Haywood Community Hospital Annual Health Fair and 5K Run, bringing together community members for a day focused on health, wellness, and giving back.

The event featured a variety of health screenings, wellness resources, fitness activities, and family-friendly fun designed to promote healthy living throughout the community. Participants of all ages gathered to support an important cause while enjoying an energetic and uplifting atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the event was the annual 5K run, where runners and walkers came together in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and community supporters, all proceeds from the event were donated to St. Jude to help support children and families facing serious illnesses.

City leaders, healthcare professionals, local businesses, and volunteers worked together to make the event a success, demonstrating the strong spirit of community partnership in Brownsville.
