City of Brownsville Vice-Mayor/Alderwoman Ward 2 Carolyn Flagg Receives S.W.A.G. Award at 4th Annual Luncheon



Brownsville, TN — Vice-Mayor Carolyn Flagg was honored during the 4th Annual Successful Women Achieving Greatness (S.W.A.G.) Luncheon hosted by the Brownsville Haywood County Chamber of Commerce on April 24, 2026.

This year’s theme, “Her Zest Means Business,” celebrated the passion, determination, and bold leadership of women who continue to make a meaningful impact throughout the community. The annual luncheon brought together community leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and supporters for a day dedicated to uplifting and recognizing the accomplishments of women across Haywood County.

Vice-Mayor Flagg was recognized for her commitment to public service, community leadership, and her ongoing efforts to support growth and progress within Brownsville. Her dedication to empowering others and strengthening the community reflects the spirit and purpose of the S.W.A.G. initiative.

The Brownsville Haywood County Chamber of Commerce described the luncheon as a powerful space designed to connect, inspire, and celebrate women from all industries while honoring the excellence they bring to every role they serve.

“Her leadership and service continue to make a lasting difference in our community,” organizers shared during the event.

The S.W.A.G. Luncheon has become one of the Chamber’s signature events, highlighting women who lead with vision, purpose, and perseverance.
