With more than 60 dazzling entries, Saturday, December 6th's Gillette Main Street Parade of Lights proved once again why it’s one of our community’s most cherished holiday traditions. Every year the creativity, effort, and holiday spirit seem to grow—and 2025 was no exception!

Despite a little December chill and dampness in the air, downtown was absolutely glowing with excitement. There wasn’t an empty curbside seat or standing spot to be found as families, friends, and neighbors gathered up and down Gillette Avenue to cheer on their favorite floats. The atmosphere was festive, joyful, and filled with the unmistakable warmth of the season.

Community Spirit Shining Bright

We cannot thank everyone enough—our participants, spectators, volunteers, and supporters—who helped make this parade spectacular. The dedication behind each float was evident, from twinkling lights to themed displays to the smiling faces waving to the crowd. Moments like these remind us what makes Gillette such a special place to call home.

The Magic of Santa’s Arrival

And of course, nothing compares to the pure excitement that spreads through the crowd when Santa Claus arrives in the grand finale. Watching the kids’ faces light up (and let’s be honest, the adults’ too!) is something we look forward to every single year. That spark of joy is what the Parade of Lights is all about.
