There’s just nothing quite like Brews & Cruise Day in Downtown Gillette!

On Saturday, September 12, downtown was packed with cars, music, food, friends, and plenty of fun for another incredible Brews & Cruise. More than 100 cars rolled in for the Show & Shine Car Show, giving car enthusiasts plenty to admire as they made their way through downtown.

This year also brought something new to the car show with the inaugural Shift It Forward: Top American Muscle Car Award! Congratulations to Shelly Meyers, our very first winner, with her beautiful blue 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This was the first year for this special award, and we look forward to carrying on the tradition with a new featured category at next year’s Brews & Cruise!

The streets were lined with American flags, proudly provided by our local Civil Air Patrol, adding an extra-special touch to the day. Food trucks kept everyone well fed, the bounce houses were a hit with the kids, and cold drinks kept flowing throughout the afternoon.

And then there was the music! Ashley Wineland and her band brought an incredible performance and the perfect energy to top off an already amazing day.

With approximately 4,000 people joining us throughout the event, Downtown Gillette was buzzing! Laughter could be heard up and down the streets, old friends caught up, new memories were made, and we couldn’t have asked for better September weather.

Brews & Cruise is one of those events that reminds us just how special our community is. Gillette Main Street simply could not pull off a day of this size without our marvelous board members, committee members, volunteers, sponsors, businesses, vendors, and community partners who give their time and resources to make it happen.

And to the thousands of you who came downtown to spend the day with us—thank you! You are what makes Brews & Cruise such a special event year after year.
