Main Street Kirksville Honored as 2026 Chamber of Commerce Non-profit of the year

Main Street Kirksville was recognized as Non-Profit of the Year at the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet, held March 21, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Georgian Room of the Student Union Building at Truman State University. This cornerstone event for the local business community offered an evening of networking, celebration, and reflection on the past year’s achievements.

Executive Director Laci Cook accepted the Non-Profit of the Year award on behalf of Main Street Kirksville, surrounded by community partners, volunteers, and supporters.​

“It is an incredible honor for Main Street Kirksville to be recognized as Non-Profit of the Year,” said Executive Director Laci Cook. “This award truly belongs to our volunteers, partners, and downtown businesses who show up day after day to make Kirksville a more vibrant, welcoming place. I am grateful to work alongside such a dedicated community.”

“We are excited to build on this momentum,” Cook added. “Together with our partners, we will continue investing in projects and programs that make downtown Kirksville a place where people want to live, work, and spend time.”
