This year's parade will happen at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Lineup will begin at 9:00 am.
Participants are encouraged to create patriotic floats for this parade. The Kiwanis Club of Kirksville does a float contest, with trophies for first, second and third place entries.
Parade rules and regulations:• Friday, June 26, 2026, is the deadline to register.
• To participate, an entry must be registered and lined up no later than 9:30 am, Saturday, July 4, 2026.
• All entries must be decorated.
• All motorized entries should have a fire extinguisher on board (5 lb. ABC Extinguisher).
• There may be no refueling of gas-powered generators after the parade has begun.
