Help Downtown Kirksville Bloom with Adopt-a-Pot
Are you ready to be part of the progress in Downtown Kirksville?
Main Street Kirksville’s new Adopt-a-Pot Program gives businesses, organizations, families, and individuals an opportunity to sponsor one of the beautiful floral planters located throughout downtown.
For an annual investment of $350 per pot, sponsors help fund seasonal flowers, planting, watering, and ongoing maintenance. Plants will be changed three times each year for spring, summer, and fall or holiday displays.
Each adopted planter will also feature a customized recognition placard. Sponsors may include a business or organization name, logo, short message, website, or social media handle. A sponsorship may also honor or remember someone special.
Design committee chair, Barb Rentschler, makes sure that each bloom is carefully curated to spark joy and an abundance of color.
The program supports more than flowers. Attractive, well-maintained planters help create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and downtown shoppers. They encourage community pride, strengthen local economic vitality, and show that people throughout Kirksville are invested in the future of downtown.
Main Street Kirksville will handle the planting, watering, and maintenance, making participation easy for every sponsor.
A limited number of planters are available, and locations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Main Street Kirksville will make every effort to accommodate preferred location requests.
