Love Labette Week ❤️

Need some help sprucing up your yard? Have time to volunteer to help those who do? You've come to the right place! 

Kindness has the power to transform a community, and Love Labette Week is all about putting that belief into action. This year, Love Labette Week will take place April 18–26, bringing together residents, businesses, organizations, and volunteers from across Labette County to celebrate service, generosity, and community pride.

Love Labette Week encourages everyone to take part in intentional acts of kindness that strengthen our community. These acts can be large or small. Some people choose to volunteer their time to help others, while others might donate supplies, lend a helping hand to a neighbor, or simply brighten someone’s day with a kind gesture. The goal is simple: show appreciation for our community and support one another in meaningful ways.

During Love Labette Week, volunteers will be helping residents with yard cleanup, outdoor preparation, and other small projects that will help with neighborhood beautification. If you would like to volunteer your time to help with these projects, or if you or someone you know could use assistance getting their yard cleaned up, the Parsons Area Chamber encourages you to sign up.

Residents can visit the Parsons Area Chamber website to register to volunteer or request volunteer help. Whether you have an hour, an afternoon, or several days to contribute, every act of service helps make Labette County stronger and more connected.

Love Labette Week is a partnership effort that reflects the spirit of our communities. By working together, we can show just how much pride we have in where we live and how much we care for our neighbors.

Throughout the week, participants are encouraged to share their acts of kindness on social media using #LoveLabette and inspire others to join in spreading positivity across the county.

When a community chooses kindness, the impact lasts far beyond one week. Love Labette Week is an opportunity for all of us to give back, lift each other up, and celebrate what makes Labette County such a special place to call home.
