✨ Moving Mora Forward, Together ✨

We welcomed New Mexico MainStreet and met with Mora County to share our progress and discuss the work ahead. As we close a busy September, we are proud of what is taking shape and remain committed to bringing projects to Mora that enrich community life and make our county an even prouder place to call home. Our vision is rooted in opening spaces, creating opportunities, and nurturing the local creativity and connections that make Mora unique. ❤️🌱

In 2026, Mora made meaningful progress in preserving and enhancing its cultural spaces. Capital Outlay funding supported improvements to the front of the Mora Library, while the Creative Industries Pilot Grant helped establish the Mora Creatives Collective space at the Parish Hall and fund roof repairs at St. Vrain Mill. Both the Parish Hall and St. Vrain Mill are located within the Arts and Cultural Compound, strengthening this shared space for creativity, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
