Join us for a family-friendly gathering with history interpreters, acitivities, live music, meet-a-goat, and indigenous storytelling and food. Local history educators and enthusiasts will be on hand dressed in the time period they are portaying.
Description
Come celebrate our nation's 250th birthday by stepping into PNW history. Local educators and history enthusiasts will be on hand dressed in the time period they are portraying and doing authentic activities, chores, and crafts. Explore with us as we learn to wash clothes on a washboard, write with quill and ink, sit in a canoe with the fur traders, listen to Native stories and flute playing in the cedar plank house, and try some fry bread.
