Opening Reception for PHANTASMAGORIA by Rodney Wood

Celebrate the opening of PHANTASMAGORIA, a solo exhibition by artist Rodney Wood, during a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, at the Deines Cultural Center.

Wood’s exhibition brings together surreal and magical realism oil paintings and imaginative assemblages inspired by the human experience. Through his work, he explores emotions ranging from joy and humor to sorrow and loneliness, creating a shifting collection of the fantastic, mysterious, and imagined.

The exhibition will remain on display through October 25. The Deines Cultural Center is open from noon to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Mondays. For more information, call 785-483-3742.
