Applications Live for Storefront/Signage Grant Program

Russell County, Kan. – Russell County Economic Development & CVB is now accepting applications for the 2027 Storefront/Signage Grant Program.

This yearly program offers matching grant funds to Russell County business owners to enhance the promotion or physical design of their businesses. It is funded by the ½ cent sales tax for economic development and capital improvements and will have four categories (or levels) of funding to choose from with award amounts ranging from $500 to $2,000.

Applications are available under the files and forms tab at www.russellcountyks.org, at the Eco Devo & CVB office at 331 East Wichita in Russell or requested via email at receptionist@russellks.net.

Completed applications are due no later than close of business on Monday, January 4, 2027, and will be scored confidentially by the Russell County Economic Development & Convention and Visitors Bureau Board. Once applications are scored, grants will be awarded in order of score totaling no more than $15,000.
