2026 Weihnachtsfest Button Winners Announced

---

Russell Main Street is pleased to announce the four junior high students whose artwork was selected for the 2026 Weihnachtsfest button. Layne Stoughton 8th grade, Kendra Anthony 8th grade, Blayke Pasek 8th grade & Ava Cline 7th grade.

The button design contest has become an annual tradition, giving local students the opportunity to contribute their creativity to one of Russell’s cherished holiday celebrations.
The 2026 Weihnachtsfest buttons are available for $5 each at participating Russell Main Street businesses. Each button features a unique number, giving purchasers a chance to win a hand-crafted Santa created by Loretta Miller, a talented Great Bend artist.  The buttons will be available for purchase starting Thursday November 19th at our monthly Off The Clock Event at Russell Specialty Books & Gifts at 5:30pm.
On December 19, 2026 at 1pm Russell Main Street will draw one button number. The holder of the matching numbered button will be the lucky winner of Miller’s hand-crafted Santa. The winning number will be announced on the facebook page Russell Main Street and their website www.RussellMainStreet.com the winner will have 24hrs to claim the santa.  If no one has claimed the prize, another number will be drawn every 24hrs until a winner is found. Community members are encouraged to purchase a button, support participating local businesses, and celebrate the creativity of this year’s junior high student designers.
Russell Main Street congratulates the four students selected for the 2026 Weihnachtsfest button and thanks all the students who participated in this year’s design tradition.
