Consumers Energy 5th AuSable River Challenge ARC120
Description
Back for a fifth running in 2026 is the Consumers Energy AuSable River Challenge 120, also known as the 'ARC 120.'
Separate from the 'main event' of the AuSable River Canoe Marathon, the ARC120 is geared toward all types of recreational, touring, and racing watercraft that are powered by a single or double bladed paddle.
The ARC 120 is a full length of the AuSable River challenge from Grayling to Oscoda. It is a good opportunity for paddlers of all skill levels to try the mighty AuSable in an organized event to test your abilities and see how you fare against the course.
The ARC 120 is a fundraiser for the Consumers Energy AuSable River Canoe Marathon C2 main event, and helps support our local emergency responders.
For 2025, the ARC 120 will start at 7 a.m. Friday, July 24th, at Borchers AuSable Canoe and Kayak Rental in Grayling and finish at the AuSable Inn in Oscoda. Teams will have until 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th, to complete the course.
