Scopes Trial Play cast get-together scheduled

The Scopes Trial Play will host a cast/recruitment party on Tuesday, May 20, at 7 p.m. in the Rhea County Heritage & Scopes Trial Museum.  The museum is located in the basement of the Rhea County Courthouse.

This gathering is to make contact with returning cast members and to fill cast and crew needs, including extras. In addition to the informal come-and-go event, Director Dan Buck will be conducting auditions for speaking and nonspeaking roles. As always, the director will make the final casting assignments.

We expect this to be a great kickoff for our 2025 run. Those who plan to attend should RSVP with your name, the role you’re interested in filling, and your contact information (email, phone number, mailing address) to admin@rheaheritage.com. 

Refreshments will be catered by Oren’s Orchard Café.

Former cast and crew may bring a guest.
