Every local business, every small business should blog regularly.
Of course, we hate the word "Blog" because it's vague and confusing. In fact, most business owners I talk to think that when I tell them they should blog that I'm suggesting they sit down and share their life's story - like in the movie Julie & Julia.
When we talk about business blogging we're really talking about creating Marketing Messages.
Marketing messages (blog posts) can range from quick but substantive posts, Before & After posts, galleries, offers, and more... Heck, you might even want to shoot a quick video then summarize it on your website - see, I'm doing that here ;)
See, having a blog does wonders for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) because Google loves content. It's also great for social media, in most cases, it's best to post to your blog then share that to Facebook as opposed to posting directly to your Facebook page.
