Business Blogging with Lisa Slack Staging & Design - Marketing 3-4-5™ in the Real World (Video)in Content Marketing, Guided Blogging, Marketing Fundamentals, Marketing 345
Welcome to Part 3 of our series, Marketing 3-4-5™ in the Real World.
Here we share examples of real local businesses blogging, usually for the first time, using the Prompt-Based approach that we teach as part of Marketing 3-4-5™ and elaborate on in our book, Marketing 3-4-5™: The Business Owner's Guide to Effective Local Marketing in 15-Minutes or Less.
Lisa's expertise stands out as a major reason people choose to work with her. Her expertise manifests in the inventory she caries, her styling sensibilities, even how she orchestrates staging-day activities. Expertise is one of the four reasons people choose to work with you.
Business Blogging is one of the most powerful things you can do to differentiate your small business with examples
Lisa has a 3,000 square foot warehouse with art, linens, furniture, and more - she can stage 10-full houses! Generally, she'll work Realtors who better understand the value her services though occasionally she'll work directly with homeowners.
I have a hard time writing the content, what goes along with these images?
We worked together to "Highlight a Creation" and added posts to the appropriate pages on her website. After creating the post, she said:
"The process we just did where we answer questions... I think I'll mostly stick with bullet points instead of paragraphs but I think it's extremely helpful."
Blogging tends to strike fear into the hearts of business owners but it shouldn't. In fact, using prompts you can expect to be able to blog in 15-minutes or less - catch a timelapse video of us blogging in 10-minutes.
Lisa mentioned she gets in her own head about knowing too many details and will push herself to create content, "It definitely doesn't seem as daunting now."
We hope seeing how real local businesses create business blogs quickly and easily with the Marketing 3-4-5™'s prompt-based approach inspires to create and distribute content for your business.
Please note, a number of videos in this series were filmed in 2019 but, due to extenuating circumstances, are now being released in 2021. The content created with businesses in this series led to the creation of The Universally Simple Local Blog Post Template which is explored in the book and available for download here.
